The S series from Sony is their affordable, entry level line. A previous model, the S600, ended up doing very well in the market. The S700 is a 7.2 megapixel camera with 3x optical zoom and a 2.4 inch LCD. A stylish metal body makes the camera look and feel like a more expensive one. The S700 is meant to be an easy to use camera. There isn’t a ton of shooting options, but it’s easy to use the ones that are there.
