HP Photosmart M547 Review - Laptop Magazine

HP-Photosmart-M547.jpg

Laptop magazine have published a review of the HP Photosmart M547 digital camera. 'At 3.8 x 1.5 x 2.5 inches and 4.8 ounces without batteries (6.4 ounces with batteries), the M547 felt solid without weighing us down. The 2.4-inch QVGA screen was bright indoors but tended to wash out in very bright sunlight. The interface is simple and lacking in manual controls, but that shouldn't be a problem for most bargain hunters. The Power and Shutter buttons occupy the top of the camera; Delete, Flash, and a mode switch sit atop the LCD screen. Zoom, Menu, Back, and directional buttons occupy the right side. The 3X optical zoom proved fine for indoor shots and close-range outdoor shots.'

HP Photosmart R837 – Laptop Mag

HP-Photosmart-R837.jpg

A review of the sleek HP Photosmart R837 digital camera has been posted over at Laptop Magazine. ‘At 5.5 ounces and one inch thick, this svelte silver camera is very light to hold and fits easily into your pocket. The slider on the front protects the lens and powers on the camera. The R837's three-inch LCD is very bright (like the HP Photosmart R967's) and fills most of this digicam's rear. Like many point-and-shoots we've recently tested, HP doesn't include an optical viewfinder. The R837 has few buttons, which adds to its clean design. Mode, flash, and shutter buttons, plus a slider to choose among photo, video, and review modes line the top. The other controls are on the right side of the LCD, including the zoom, back, and trash buttons, plus the four-way toggle. ‘

HP Photosmart R967 - Megapixel

HP-Photosmart-R967.jpg

Megapixel.net have published their review of the 10-megapixel HP Photosmart R967 digital camera. 'The body of the HP Photosmart R967 is entirely metal clad, with a brushed finish over most areas, and the front of the camera features a wave design that creates a modern, as well as effective, grip. With the exception of the shutter release that is tilted towards the front of the camera, a tungsten colour highlights the area that supports all the external controls of the camera, which in combination with the brushed metal finish, makes the HP R967 look very elegant. Most of the R967's back is taken up by the LCD monitor, which measures 3-inch (7.6 cm) diagonally. The monitor is composed of 230,400 pixels, creating a sharp image.'

Review: HP Photosmart R817At CNET

HP%20Photosmart%20R817.gif.jpg

CNET has reviewed the compact "feature-rich" Photosmart R817 digital camera from HP. 'When buying a digital camera, the rule of thumb has been small size, small price, big features--choose any two. With recent technological advances and price reductions, you can almost have all three at the same time. The Photosmart R817 is one of HP's recent efforts to cram its mix of image-enhancing technologies into an inexpensive, pocket-size camera. The 6.7-ounce R817 has a 5.1-megapixel sensor, a mostly metal body, and a bright 2-inch LCD screen. It also has a 5X optical zoom, which is unusual in a camera this small.
